How Repairs Work

Sending your lighter in is simple. Here's what to expect from the moment you pack it up to the day it returns — restored, tested, and ready to strike.

  • 1. Pack your lighter(s) safely.

    Wrap each piece well to protect it in transit.

  • 2. Include your info.

    Add the requested details (listed below) in the package with your lighter(s).

  • 3. Ship to Elegant Lighters.

    Send your lighter(s) to our Authorized Repair Service at 3450 Asheville Hwy, Hendersonville, NC 28791.

  • 4. We inspect your lighter(s).

    When your piece arrives, we examine it and determine exactly what the repair requires.

  • 5. Receive your invoice (within 48 hrs).

    You'll be sent an invoice within 48 hours via email detailing the cost of repairs.

  • 6. Pay invoice.

    We do not begin repairs until payment on the invoice is made.

  • 7. Restoration.

    Turnaround time on repairs is generally 2–3 weeks from the date of payment.

  • 8. Return shipping.

    You'll be emailed tracking info as soon as your lighter(s) is shipped back to you. All return shipments include insurance and signature required.

  • 9. One-year warranty.

    Every refurb is backed by our one-year warranty — your lighter comes back ready to strike and covered.

    Dunhill Rollagas — Full Internal Overhaul

    All internal parts were removed, ultrasonically cleaned, and the o-rings and valves were replaced with authentic Dunhill parts. The lighter also received fresh flint, a new sparkwheel, and an exterior polish.

    This Ronson Queen Anne had the spark wheel, cotton, wick, and filler cap o-ring replaced. It has been fully cleaned and polished. The flint tube was drilled out and new flint was inserted.

    This Zippo had the case ultrasonically cleaned, and the cotton and wick replaced. The flint tube was drilled out and a new flint was inserted. The spark wheel was sharpened.
