Caring for Your Lighter

Everyday surfaces: Clean with a soft cloth. Avoid solvent-based products.
Silver-coated surfaces: Use a silver polishing cloth from a specialist shop. Silver may oxidize naturally over time — a process heightened by prolonged contact with leather or rubber.
Lacquered surfaces: Clean as you would eyeglass lenses — fog them and wipe with a soft cloth. Lacquer is nearly acid-proof and highly resistant to shocks, scratches, friction, and water.
